The maps

Base throats are oil chutes ending in a spike bank behind each flag. Chasers who boost without braking slide past the flag into the spikes.

Tarpit Mid

The mid powerup nest sits inside a diamond ring of tar. Anyone can grab the pup, but they wade in and out — committing to mid is a real exposure cost.

Shellwork

A walled shell at mid with spike teeth, gated doors and two powerups inside; one-way chutes drop attackers into each base, and the bouncy back walls return every overshot chase to play.

Proving Ground

No oil, tar, bounce, spikes, gates, or wells — just wall geometry and classic powerups. A loss here is never the map's fault.

Deadbolt

Each flag sits behind a gate whose button is flanked by spikes on both sides — camping it to trap a rusher means standing next to spikes yourself. An ungated gap in the pocket's far corner is the way past a held gate. Drop Bomb pickups let either side wall off a corridor on the fly.

Thicket

Two offset lobes meet at a wide waist flanked by gravity wells — mid is the contest by geometry. An island bar in front of each base forces the over/under call, and a back-door portal rotates you to the waist's lip.

Redline

A rail-lined speed channel runs through mid with four neutral pads down the line, and a team pad launches each base's route into it. Carrier and chaser both live at top speed; the spine's entries are spiked.

Tremor

The smallest arena, split by a diagonal fault of wall shards and spikes with slip-gaps. Bombs flank the seam, so crossing mid means picking a gap at speed while the ground keeps erupting.

Warp

Two round lobes joined by a narrow pillar-weave bridge — and the portals are the real routes. An attack portal jumps you from the back door to the forward lip; a recall portal warps defence home for the regrab.

Gambit

A spike-lined fast lane runs straight through mid with gravity wells waiting past the exit. The flanks are safe but long — every push is a bet on the lane or the walk.

Portcullis

Each base has a gated north door and an open south door, plus a gated shortcut at the waist. The buttons sit out on the lanes, so holding a gate means standing in traffic.

Foundry

A central furnace chamber with gated mouths and a bounce-wall core; ungated corridors run over and under it. Fight through the furnace or race the long way around.

Caltrop

Shard-anchored spike gardens tax every pinch point, and a gravity well beside each flag makes the regrab a knife fight.

Maelstrom

Six gravity wells spiral across an open blob, each with a bounce nub on its rim — brace-deflect off one to slingshot out of the pull. Momentum is a weapon and a hazard.

Apogee

The biggest arena in the game: twin pillars and a gravity-well pair at the core, ring fragments arcing over and under it, and long lanes that reward a flight path planned ahead.

Dyson

Team-tile fields power each half's own approach lanes while four pillars stand as the sphere's segments at mid. Rotate through your grid, fight for theirs.

Saltworks

The game's only vertical arena. Tar pans cover each flag's approach and band the waist — carriers wade, so the escort and the cut-off both matter.

Neutral Flag — 13 maps

One yellow flag at mid that changes hands the instant its carrier is tagged. Carry it all the way to your own endzone to score.

Lockup

Each endzone is a vault behind gates resting in its owner's colour: scorers flow through, defenders hold the button or pay the pop. Scoring rides you home through the vault's return portal.

Skate Park

Each endzone sits at the mouth of a straight, bouncy-walled oil tunnel. Line up the approach and the tunnel carries you in; miscalculate the angle and there's no correcting mid-slide.

Cold Storage

Each endzone sits at the back of a tar locker, and the locker's two-tile throat is at the corner diagonally opposite it — the whole mire is the approach. Frostbite pickups near mid let a defender freeze a wading carrier outright.

Undertow

A chain of team-only speed pads lines each side's own route home — a current that helps a carrier and does nothing for a chaser crossing the same tiles.

Husk

A huge arena with a four-pillar husk around the flag and oil slicks on both scoring approaches. Big grabs, long slippery runs.

Backdraft

The flag sits inside a bounce-wall diamond, so the grab itself is a deflect fight; gravity wells and wide team-pad lanes feed the blast out.

Crescendo

A gravity-well field that thickens toward each endzone, so a scoring run fights rising pull all the way in. The biggest NF arena.

Afterburn

Neutral pads chain the whole run at top speed, then tar checks the last stretch before each zone. The fastest map in the game — if you can stop.

Yaw

Team-tile fields chart each side's own route home while gravity wells churn the waist. Ride your current back; cut across theirs.

Relic

An ancient gate seals each endzone's short door with its button out in the field; pillar ruins and a well pair shape the long way around.

Slipstream

Portals are the rotation: a home portal jumps you to the mid flank, a mid portal drops you at your zone to cut off the incoming carrier.

Overcast

Drifting diagonal wall masses break every sightline and spike hail rides the gaps. The densest NF arena — all short reads.

Recoil

Bounce-wall bars angle across the lanes and gravity wells wait at each approach. Every run home is played off the cushions.
