Backdraft
The flag sits inside a bounce-wall diamond, so the grab itself is a deflect fight; gravity wells and wide team-pad lanes feed the blast out.
How it plays
The diamond makes the grab the hard part: inside it, every missed tag and every boost caroms, so possession usually goes to whoever braces last rather than whoever arrives first. Outside, gravity wells and wide team-pad lanes turn the escape into a race the carrier's own current wants them to win.
How to win it
Don't enter the diamond first in a crowd — let the early arrivals pinball, then take the flag off the chaos with a late brace. Once out, get on your pad lane immediately; its speed is the margin between a tag and a score. Defenders should seal the diamond's exits rather than dive in: the walls fight for whoever stands still.
