Recoil
Bounce-wall bars angle across the lanes and gravity wells wait at each approach. Every run home is played off the cushions.
How it plays
The bars are angled on purpose: almost no straight line home survives, so every run is banked off a cushion or three, and the wells at each approach catch whatever comes off the bank slow. Players who fight the geometry lose to it; players who aim their caroms travel faster than open floor would allow.
How to win it
Practise the two-cushion lines to each zone until they are automatic — a banked carrier is hard to tag because their heading keeps changing without spending any steering. Chasers should wait at the wells, the one place every bank decays into a predictable curve. Brace-deflect is the whole toolkit here: hold to kill a bad bounce, tap as a chaser arrives to make a good one.
