Grease Trap
Base throats are oil chutes ending in a spike bank behind each flag. Chasers who boost without braking slide past the flag into the spikes.
How it plays
The whole map funnels through the two oil chutes. At cruise speed they are a shortcut; at boost speed they are a one-way ticket past the flag and into the spike bank behind it. Attackers want to enter the chute slow and leave it fast — build momentum on the way out, not the way in.
How to win it
On defence, don't contest the grab inside the chute — the oil kills your turning too. Hold the exit instead: a carrier leaving the base has to commit to a line early, and a defender waiting at the mouth with a boost in hand tags them the moment the slide forces them straight. Save your brake for the chute and your boost for open floor.
