Thicket
Two offset lobes meet at a wide waist flanked by gravity wells — mid is the contest by geometry. An island bar in front of each base forces the over/under call, and a back-door portal rotates you to the waist's lip.
How it plays
Geometry makes mid the contest: both lobes funnel to one wide waist flanked by gravity wells, so every rotation passes through the pull. The island bar in front of each base splits the approach into an over/under read the defence has to call early.
How to win it
Use the back-door portal as tempo, not surprise — the defence knows it exists, but they still cannot cover the waist's lip and the island bar at once. On the chase, let the wells work: herd the carrier toward the pull and tag them as the well bends their line. Fighting the well and a chaser at the same time is a losing hand.
